Olivia and Andreas decided to celebrate their wedding day in the south of Switzerland and in style. Ticino is well known for it’s beautiful lake (a fairly common feature in Switzerland to be fair!) Locarno, it’s Italian charm and therefore of course - gelato! All of which played a big part in their wonderful wedding day
Not only did Olivia & Andreas invite me to capture their wedding story in the beautiful Italian part of Switzerland, Ticino - but I was also fortunate enough to photograph the meets and greets from the pre-wedding party on the evening before their big day
Lynn and Bastian reached out to me all the way from Berlin! They already knew that they wanted a documentary style photography approach at their wedding, and when they found out that I was from Manchester (where Lynn had spent time studying), it seemed like it was fate!
Today I’m sharing with you one of my favourite weddings from last year… Caroline and Josh flew all the way over from San Francisco to Switzerland to secretly elope in the Swiss Alps. They love hiking and loved the idea of just the two of them exchanging their vows on top of a mountain in a very special place. I have to say that I completely agree!
One of my favourite places to travel to is Baja California in Mexico. Tacos, surf, friendly locals, desert vibes, awesome weather and a little bit of crazyness - are all contributing factors for me having returned to this great country 4 times over the last decade!
Colourful, passionate, emotional, warm-hearted, fun, flamboyant, charming... and very Spanish! These are the first things that spring to mind when I think back to Irene and Xavier's delightful wedding in a traditonal little village called Portillo, in rural Toledo about 2 hours north of Madrid.
Anna, Andi and their megahärzig (that's 'very cute' in Swiss German!) little girl Lina are a lovely family that I had the pleasure of photographing on their wonderful wedding day in Zurich, Switzerland.
