“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” - Aaron Siskind

A few of the most frequently asked questions received from Switzerland wedding photographers.

Where are you from and what brought you to Switzerland?

I'm from Manchester in the UK and I've been living and working as a wedding photographer in Zürich (which is my partners home town!) since my arrival back in 2016. It was after my first visit during the middle of a beautiful summer that I was sold on making the move over to Switzerland!

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes absolutely. I've photographed weddings all over the world, from as far away as New Zealand! So please don’t hesitate to get in touch wherever you're planning to tie the knot.

What are your prices?

My wedding photography packages start at CHF 2500. For a full list of my prices and packages, please get in touch and I'll send them over!

Do you take family group photos?

Yes, I do! While my style is documentary and focused on natural moments, I always make time for a few relaxed, quick family group shots. That way, everyone can get back to enjoying the day—and I can keep capturing all the fun, real moments.

Do you speak German and is this important when shooting weddings?

I speak basic German—with a bit of a Swiss/High German mix! But honestly, I could photograph a wedding without understanding a word. It’s all about good energy and connection. Most people speak English or are happy with my German, and I often end up having great chats with guests either way!

How many photos will we receive?

It really depends on the day and the coverage, but typically you'll receive anywhere between 400–800 edited photos. I believe in quality over quantity, so I make sure every image you receive is carefully edited and tells part of your story.

How long does it take to receive our photos?

I aim to deliver your full wedding gallery within 4–6 weeks. During peak wedding season, things can get especially busy, but I always do my best to keep things moving and get your photos to you as soon as possible. If I’m able to deliver them earlier, I absolutely will!

Can we meet before the wedding?

Of course! I love to connect with my couples beforehand—whether that’s over coffee in Zurich or via Zoom if you’re further afield. It’s a great chance to get to know each other and chat through the plans for your day.
