Liza & Nic, Wedding Photography Antibes, French Riviera
Liza & Nicolas had a small wedding with some very close family and friends in Zurich around a year prior to their official wedding in France, which I also had the pleasure of photographing. So it was a lovely surprise when they asked me to join them in the beautiful area of Antibes, which is about an hour south of Nice in the French Riveria.
The shenanigans began the evening before their wedding day, with a relaxing get-together directly on the beach in a local restaurant of Antibes. On the following day, just a few doors down, was the wedding itself. I started the day photographing Liza getting ready, followed by the outdoor ceremony with an ocean view. Then came a delicious French apéro, some wonderful moments where the children played on the beach, some amazing speeches and of course the grand finale - the party!
By the way, this was literally one of the hottest weekends of the year across the whole of Europe (especially in France!), so if everyone looks a little bit toasty… that’ll be why!
